The director — Mark Carr LLB
15 years in criminal law, 20+ years in forensic imaging, now applying that standard to drone survey.
Mark Carr LLB spent 15 years as a criminal solicitor and advocate with one of the largest UK criminal practices, specialising in criminal litigation. He then qualified as an independent forensic photographer licensed by the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners (CRFP) and worked for many years as an expert witness in civil and criminal courts, conducting fraud investigation work for major insurance companies.
That background shapes how Image Surveys approaches every commission: understanding how a report will be used, how evidence will be scrutinised, and what a surveyor, solicitor or loss adjuster actually needs the data to do. The drone is the most efficient way to capture safe, accurate, documented data — but the tool is not the service.
"A report that a surveyor can rely on. A dataset an architect can use. Evidence an insurer will accept. That is what we are here to produce."
